What "editable" means
An editable code doesn't contain your link. It contains a short address of ours, like go.keepqr.co.uk/abc1234. When someone scans it, we look up where it should go and send them there straight away, with no adverts and no tracking banner.
Because the code only holds the short address, you can change the destination whenever you like. Print the code on your menu today and point it at next season's menu in March. The printed code never changes.
If your link will never change, you don't need an editable code. A free static code works just as well and depends on nothing but the website it points to. See how static and editable codes work.
Why there's no subscription
Many QR code generators sell editable codes by the month. If the subscription stops, the codes can stop too, often after they've been printed. We think that's the wrong deal for something you print. So you pay once, and the code keeps working. Our costs per code are tiny, which is what makes this possible. Read our promise for exactly what we commit to.
Common questions
Is there a subscription or renewal fee?
No. Every price on this page is a one-time payment. There is nothing to renew and no card kept on file for future charges.
Is VAT included?
Yes. £4.99 and £19 include UK VAT at 20%. The price you see is the price you pay.
Do credits expire?
No. If you buy a pack of 10 and use three, the other seven stay in your account until you need them.
Can I get a refund?
Yes. Ask within 14 days of buying and we will refund you, no questions asked. Any code you already made keeps working after the refund.
What happens to my editable code if I never pay again?
Nothing. It keeps working. We never deactivate a paid code for non-payment, because there is no ongoing payment.
Do I need an account for a free static code?
No. Static codes are made in your browser and downloaded straight away. You only need to sign in, with a link sent to your email, to buy and manage editable codes.
